Shall we take a look at Kids Parties Across Venues In Yorkshire? I am actively searching for something special to do, for our little ones’ fifth birthday. However, we don’t want a large party with her classmates. It’s expensive and hard work for us as parents. Most years, we would prefer to go on holiday as a family. Or have a smaller celebration. We will aim for one of two big birthday parties, during her time at school.

The importance of socialising with other children

I completely agree that socialising with other children is important for little ones. However, she spends a lot of time with her friends at school. And we are currently looking into after-school activities for her to do. Being in a new social setting, with new friends, will be great for her.

Results of my research – I wanted to share with you some of the bespoke packages I’ve found

Shall we look at some of the Kids Parties Across Venues In Yorkshire, that I’ve been checking out? And what they offer if you’re also looking for a celebration for your child.

Some of the packages are for a smaller group of people. However, some require a larger amount of children. However, I have tried to include venues that differ from what you would normally expect.

Parties at Xscape Yorkshire

If you’ve been to Xscape Yorkshire, you will know there are numerous activities and the fun continues the whole time you’re there. Well, the great news is that pretty much every outlet offers birthday party packages for your little ones. Check them all out here.

I’ve recently sent an enquiry to the Snozone, because we’ve recently spent a lot of time there. And the little one has even tried the family sledging – which she loved!

Alfresco Adventures

Do you have a wild child amongst your brood? And are you on the lookout for something completely different? Alfresco Adventures offers experiences in North Yorkshire and the Lake District. From climbing and abseiling to water sports.

The experiences are suitable from the age of 7 upwards.

Hope Pastures

Birthday Parties at Hope Pastures take place on Saturdays and Sundays – these run throughout the year. The total cost of a Hope Pastures Pony Party is £10 per person and parties run for two hours, between 11.00 am – 1.00 pm. You can rent out the full swimming pool for some fun with your friends. Depending on your swimming abilities and the size of the party, you can choose from a range of options to ensure you make the most of your hour in the pool.

Jackrabbits Pottery

Each children’s party includes:

• A unique plate illustrated with every guest’s fingerprints
• Great choice of fun items to paint, with something for everyone
• A member of staff to supervise and help your guests get creative
• Freedom to bring your party food (we provide plates and squash for your party)
• Use of all paints, materials and tools
• Party invites to print & distribute
• Glazing, firing, and individual wrapping of pottery
• All the tidying up is done for you!

Prices for a party start at £140 – you pay for what your guests paint with a minimum spend of £14 on pottery per painter (with a minimum of 10 painters).

Little Burrowers

Little Burrowers is the perfect place for kids’ parties for under-fours. They have two rooms to choose from: the play village, where kids can pretend to be firefighters, hairdressers or vets, and the baby sensory room, ideal for the tiny tots.

This sounds like so much fun. And it reminds me of the little ones’ younger days, when we visited a local soft play centre just like this. She is now a bit too big! 🙁 But this venue is perfect if you have little kids under four years old.

Planet Ice

Dig York

The party provides a dedicated Viking host who will lead the way through the dig pits. Helping your party attendees unearth fascinating artefacts from 2000 years of York’s history. After a fun shield-making activity there will be delicious party food before everyone becomes a real Viking and faces each other in battle!

Oxygen Activeplay York

Oxygen Activeplay provides kids’ parties, but also a specially designed toddler package.

This Green Moon

For your wild ones – this party is perfect.

The parties are all based in the ancient woods of the former Swillington Hall Estate – designed to bring out the adventure in children. The sessions are based around set themes: Rooster Roy the Cowboy, Pirates v Lost Boys, Little Folk of the Forest and Forest Galaxy (laser tag). All the parties include a treasure hunt and den building along with other activities.

Hesketh Farm Park offers lots of fun activities for the little ones. From tractor rides to farming jobs. Indoor and outdoor play areas for the kids.
