AD – Gifted collaboration with Andrew Peace Wines.
Is it just me, or does life sometimes feel like one long list of things that need doing?
There always seems to be something else waiting for us — work, housework, emails, errands and all those little jobs that somehow appear just when you think you’ve finally finished for the day.
That’s why I think we could all benefit from finding those little moments of peace.
Not necessarily an entire evening to ourselves. Sometimes, just five minutes can make a difference.
And that’s exactly the idea behind the Andrew Peace Wines Push for Peace campaign.

Five minutes of peace
I was recently gifted a Push for Peace parcel from Andrew Peace Wines, designed to help create a simple little end-of-day unwind ritual.
Inside was a selection of Andrew Peace wines, a five-minute Peace timer and a handy non-spill wine glass — basically everything needed to create a little moment of calm.
And I have to admit, I loved the idea.
Because how often do we say, “I just need five minutes”?
Sometimes finding that five minutes feels harder than it should!
Unboxing my Push for Peace parcel
Opening the parcel felt like the perfect excuse to actually stop for a moment.
The range includes different wines to suit different tastes, including Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, with the wines available through retailers including Tesco, Co-op and Morrisons.
The Andrew Peace range is produced at the family’s third-generation vineyard in Australia, with the wines designed to be smooth and easy drinking.
And the whole idea behind the campaign is summed up perfectly by their message:
Smooth, even when life isn’t.
Creating my own unwind ritual
For me, the best part of the parcel was the reminder to actually make time to stop.
I chose a quiet spot, grabbed the non-spill wine glass, poured myself a small glass and set the timer for five minutes.
Then came the difficult part…
Doing absolutely nothing!
No checking emails.
No scrolling.
No thinking about everything that needed doing.
Just five minutes to sit down, breathe and enjoy the moment.
And honestly, it was lovely.

Sometimes we need permission to pause
I think we’re often so focused on getting everything done that we forget that taking a break is important too.
You don’t always need a spa day, a weekend away or hours of uninterrupted free time.
Sometimes it’s sitting in the garden on a warm evening.
Sometimes it’s putting your feet up in front of the television.
Sometimes it’s enjoying a quiet drink while dinner is cooking.
Or sometimes it’s simply sitting down for five minutes and saying, “I’m not doing anything right now.”
That’s what I like about the Push for Peace idea. It’s about turning those small pockets of time into something you can actually look forward to.
Smooth, even when life isn’t
Andrew Peace Wines are available in a selection of varieties, including Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The range is widely available in the UK through Tesco, Co-op and Morrisons, with bottles starting from around £7, making them an accessible option when you’re looking for a bottle to enjoy at home.
Whether you’re a white wine fan or prefer a smooth red, there’s something in the range for different tastes.
And for me, the biggest takeaway isn’t really about having a long evening to yourself.
It’s about recognising those little opportunities to pause.
My five-minute moment of peace
After a busy day, it’s easy to think that you need to get everything finished before you can relax.
But maybe we don’t.
Maybe we can simply press pause for five minutes.
Put the phone down.
Pour a drink.
Sit somewhere comfortable.
Take a breath.
And enjoy that little “ahhhhh” moment.
Because life isn’t always smooth — but our little moments of peace can be.
18+ only. Please enjoy responsibly.
